There is nothing unnatural about the universe...How could there be?
Although we are just starting out on the journey of acquiring knowledge about the way of the universe, we can already surmise that all things happen with reason and purpose. That is not to say that all reason and purpose has some ethical or moral framework, but is nothing more than a natural chain of events, weaved into cause and effect.
Superstition, on any level, cannot be justified with any tangible evidence. The concepts of 'luck', 'religion' and 'fate' have nothing solid to reinforce their existence other than the hopes and anxieties in the minds of those that perpetuate them.
It is true that these concepts provide people with hope, and that should never be underestimated or dismissed. For those with Faith have Hope, those without have Doubt; who is the wiser?
If these concepts provide emotional security, then so be it. Be happy with your perception, be comfortable with your existence; but don't let us struggle with insecurities, don't let us fight over who is 'right'.
Let us all have peace. Let us all have life. Let us all agree to differ.
